Xderma topical therapeutics

Xderma is a start-up biotechnology company formed around topical formulations to treat a variety of bacterial and fungal skin conditions in animals. Our products are evidenced-based and backed by extensive clinical and laboratory scientific research.

Our lead product, Xderma Greasy Heel KO, is a well tolerated and effective treatment for pastern dermatitis in horses. Xderma will be adding a number of exciting and innovative products to our portfolio in addition to our existing topical applications over the next 12 months.

Xderma is looking for partnering opportunities to expand to international markets with our product for horses, as well as licensing opportunities for new and innovative veterinary therapeutics, diagnostics and devices to be sold in Australia and help grow our portfolio.

Greasy heel, also known as pastern dermatitis, grease, scratches, mauke or mud fever is a dermatitis that begins with skin redness, typically developing scaling that progresses to weeping from an open wound, crust formation, and hair loss.
